Gyan- Jyoti education society (Regd.) Thehar was founded in March, 1997 in the memory of Late Smt. Ratni Devi W/O Hoshiar Singh Rana and mother of Sh. K.S Rana Chairman, for imparting quality education as she had deep interest in education. Sudershana Rana W/O K.S. Rana has provided her constant support and guidance to make Ratni Devi’s vision a reality.
Gyan- Jyoti public School had a humble start in the first year with 92 students on its roll from Nursery to class IV. But due to devoted efforts of members of staff, Principal and exemplary result of students since its inception this school got overwhelming patronage of parents, the school grew from strength to strength year after year.
Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of Gyan – Jyoti Public School have been to inculcate a deep sense of Nationalism among the students as to equip them with practical knowledge which will help them to lead a good personal life. Moral education is a our watch word.

Admission Charges: Admission charges RS 1000/- has to be paid at the time of admission in the school.
Admission
Fresh admission for all classes starts from 25th March and will continue till the available seats are not filled.

- Application on the prescribed form should be submitted to the Principal immediately after declaration of result.
- The following documents should be submitted along with the form.
Date of birth certificate (Photo Copy), details of aadhar card.
- An application who has been granted admission must deposit the necessary dues in the same day failing which his / her admission may be cancelled.
