Gyan- Jyoti education society (Regd.) Thehar was founded in March, 1997 in the memory of Late Smt. Ratni Devi W/O Hoshiar Singh Rana and mother of Sh. K.S Rana Chairman, for imparting quality education as she had deep interest in education. Sudershana Rana W/O K.S. Rana has provided her constant support and guidance to make Ratni Devi's vision a reality.
Gyan- Jyoti public School had a humble start in the first year with 92 students on its roll from Nursery to class IV. But due to devoted efforts of members of staff, Principal and exemplary result of students since its inception this school got overwhelming patronage of parents, the school grew from strength to strength year after year.
